Though it comes as no great surprise to us at Commonwealth Volkswagen, we must nonetheless assert: our esteemed German automaker definitely delivered the goods with its standout midsize sedan, the 2016 VW Passat.

Is this the best version of the four-door yet? We think it very well could be. Get a taste for all it has to offer by watching the video review below:

There are myriad trim types available for the Passat — five, in total — and it all starts with the awesomely appointed base model, the S.

Standard features on this trim include 16-inch alloy wheels, automatic headlamps, a rearview camera, dual-zone auto climate control, a 60/40-split-folding rear seat, a tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, Bluetooth compatibility, as well as a 5-inch touchscreen display. An exquisite entry-level trim, there sure is a lot to love about the S.

If you’d like to meet this marvelous machine “in the metal,” or wish to put one through its paces on the open road, we encourage you to pay us a visit at our Lawrence, MA location. Upon your stopover, we’ll be sure to set you up with a test drive in the Passat, or any other VW model that’s made your must-see list.
